A new construction of a state of the art cancer T-cell therapy production facility for Kite Pharma. Our project included the build out of 60,000 sqft of lab space, a warehouse, 2 story office building with a kitchen, dining area and fitness center. Scope of work included plumbing, mechanical, process gas and water utilities.
Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Building 33 Biosciences Facility

A new construction of a 4,500 sqft BSL-3 lab space. Our scope of work included lab air, water, gas, and waste systems with decontamination. Also, installing HVAC systems such as a dedicated chilled water and hydronic heating system was included within the project scope.
Frederick Memorial Hospital Project 2000 – Phase 3

A renovation of an existing four story wing at Frederick Memorial Hospital. The hospital wing was in full operation 24/7 while the project was being completed. This project consisted of updating their existing HVAC and plumbing systems all while the medical gas systems remained in operation. The new HVAC equipment included a central station air handling unit and new piping systems included heating, chilled, steam and condensate piping and medical gas.

Frederick Memorial Hospital – Emergency Department

A renovation of the Frederick Memorial Hospital Emergency and Endoscopy units and the addition of new main entrance. This project consisted of installing new HVAC equipment such as new custom ahu’s, steam to heating water conversion plants, new steam condensate, heating / chilled water piping, ductwork and controls. Our plumbing work included installing new fixtures, piping, medical gas piping and outlets.
A renovation of an existing 5-story history lab and research building. This project required a complete demolition of the interior and modifications to external site utilities. With this building located on a busy campus, the project was only allowed a small staging and lay-down area connected to an occupied and functioning laboratory. The project consisted of installing campus chilled water and steam utilities to their central heating/cooling mechanical room. Setting up heated/chilled water throughout the building and central station air handling equipment. Lastly, we installed domestic plumbing and life support process systems for their aquatic research specimens.
A renovation of a historic six-story building. The building would be used for NIH’s campus lab and medical administration. Our project consisted of installing new HVAC systems connecting to the campus stream and chilled water systems, the build out of a new central mechanical room with steam hot water conversion, installed heating and chilled system pumps and central air handling. Plumbing was also included in this renovation with the installment of new domestic water, sanitary sewer systems, fixtures and piping.
National Cancer Institute ATRF – Cell Therapy Suite

An Interior renovation of a 1,843 sqft suite inside the National Cancer Institute ATRF, meeting CGMP ISO-7 to support cell therapy research. The existing facility was was occupied throughout the entire construction of the project. We installed various systems which included LN2 (vac jacketed), Co2, RO Water (machine weld), and compressed air and vacuum.
