Rex Camden, General Manager
Rex’s experience includes over 40 years in the Mechanical Construction trade and during that time he has held nearly every position, including tradesman, foreman, project manager and project executive. His working knowledge of the business and broad technical knowledge gives him a unique capability to understand issues from all perspectives and quickly work towards resolution. As General Manager, Rex is responsible for all day-to-day operations, management oversight of all projects, and final bid submissions and negotiations. Rex is a licensed Master Plumber and certified Construction Manager.
Dave Dolbow, Chief Estimator
Dave started in the mechanical trades as a sheet metal mechanic’s helper and progressed on to positions as job foreman, purchaser and estimator. He has over 25 years of experience in the mechanical construction industry including 18 years as a plumbing, HVAC and sheet metal estimator. Dave is responsible for all mechanical cost estimating of plan and spec projects. He is experienced in providing owners and contractors with accurate conceptual design build and design assist budgets for medical, institutional, government, education and commercial projects of all sizes, and excels at identifying appropriate scope of work requirements.
Allen Boyer, Senior Project Manager
Allen brings over 25 years of experience to his position and began his career with Warner Mechanical as an Apprentice Plumber. During his time with R. W. Warner, he has held the positions of Field Foreman, Superintendent, Estimator and Project Manager, giving him extensive knowledge of both field and operations requirements. Allen has worked on projects exceeding $20,000,000 and has successfully managed mechanical projects in excess of $10,000,000. He currently holds a Journeyman Plumber and Gas Fitter license and is a certified Medical Gas Installer. In addition, Allen has successfully completed Purdue University’s Project Management for Mechanical Contracting program.
Rich Baker, Project Manager
Rich is the newest member of the Warner Mechanical team and brings with him extensive experience with large scale mechanical projects in hospital and research facilities environments. His project experience includes Holy Cross Hospital ($30 million mechanical package), SAIC-Frederick ($20 million mechanical package), Johns Hopkins Shock Trauma Phase 4 ($16 million mechanical package), and Mercy Medical Center ($55 million mechanical package). Rich holds certifications in steam utilization and hydronic design, is Army Corp of Engineers and NAVSEA Quality Training certified, and OSHA 30 hour construction certified. Rich graduated from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, where he was also a 4 year player on the men’s basketball team.
Phil Helser, Coordination & Fabrication Manager
Phil began his career with Warner Mechanical in 2004 as a draftsman and quickly rose to the position of Senior CAD Operator before being named to his current position in 2010. As Coordination and Fabrication Manager, Phil is responsible for BIM coordination drawings and prefabrication, as well as coordinating with sub‐contractors drawings and material deliveries. In addition, he is responsible for reviewing project plans and specs, maintaining as‐built drawings, attending coordination meetings, and generating RFI’s related to coordination. Phil holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from Hagerstown Community College.
